'Loving Your Pet....Is What We Do 'Best'!
BOARDING

Boarding is done in our home!

Leaving town can be a horrible experience for us humans, when we
find for whatever reason we cannot take our "Fur" Babies with us.
For us, here at 'Spoiled Rotten' Kennel, boarding  our babies at the
Veterinarian's office or a Kennel Facility is simply NOT appealing!

We don't like the idea that our babies have to stay in a small crate all
day and night, only getting out to go to the bathroom.
Not getting the hands on love and attention that they get at home.
The thought of this type of boarding, absolutely breaks our hearts!
A Kennel Facility, may or may not have more space but
they are still locked up!

Are your babies locked up at home all day and night?
Only getting '2 minutes of attention'  from you to get them
out the door to use the bathroom?
OF COURSE NOT!

So, because you are out of town, they have to go to a place where
they are locked up.  And how many days are you going to be gone?

We just couldn't stand the thought that we were putting our babies
into an environment so drastically different from them being at home.

We thought about the situation and knew in our hearts that we were
not the only people that felt this way, about leaving their babies and
having them locked up.  Therefore, we decided that we would offer
boarding in our home.

When we bought our home, the 2-car garage had been converted into
a Mother-in-law Suite.  Well, we turned it into a Kennel Playroom.

In the Playroom, all the dogs, including our own spend the day!  I
spend my entire day in the Playroom with the babies.  Everyone
getting the time and the attention that they want and need.  My office
is in the playroom, I have a kitchen (where I bake our Barkery Treats)
and my own bathroom facilities.  My Laundry room is even in the
same room!  The dogs absolutely LOVE it! They really like the
cookies that they get on baking days!  The babies that
come and stay with us, really like baking day, too!

Being away from home and especially being away from you is very
stressful. It puts an enormous strain on them.  We do our best to
keep your baby on his/her own schedule..This helps ease some the
stress and strain on them.

You are encouraged to bring a couple of their favorite toys for
bedtime and their own food. Bringing their own food and toys, aids in
lowering the stress level. We want to keep their stress at a minimum.
Maintaining as close as possible, their everyday schedule. These
things reduce their stress while you are gone.

If your baby doesn't have bedtime toys, we suggest you wear an old
T-Shirt to sleep in the night before you are dropping your baby off.
Bring that old T-Shirt with you, at night we will put that shirt in your
baby's crate. Your smells on that T-shirt will greatly reduce your
baby's stress level.  We highly recommend this especially in a young
pup, that has never been away from you.  By doing this, your baby
knows you really are coming back!
And isn't that what we really want them to know?

If you are like us and many other "Fur" Parents
having to make the choice of whether to leave your babies in a
"typical" boarding environment or a home boarding environment,
'We are positive you will choose Home Boarding'!
Come and give us a try here at
'Spoiled Rotten' Kennel.

We guarantee that your 'Fur"baby will Thank You!
And we know you will be as happy as your "Fur" Baby,
coming back time and time again!
